Animal Centre Manager

Job Title: Animal Centre Manager

Line Manager: Chief Executive Officer

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Location: Cricklade

RSPCA North Wiltshire & Newbury District is a branch of the National RSPCA. In 2020 we acquired an established Wildlife Rescue Centre near Swindon.  The Centre cares for 3,500-4,000 animals a year ranging from fledglings to deer.  Since taking over the site we have invested much time and money on a comprehensive range of improvements to facilities and processes to bring us up to and exceed the exacting standards set by the RSPCA licencing team. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for someone to replace our outgoing Centre Manager and to carry on his excellent work.

A good knowledge of wildlife care is of course important but equally so are your man management, site management and organisational skills. A flexible and agile approach to work is also important as rarely are two days the same.

This is a key role within our charity and presents the successful candidate not only with a fascinating variety of work but more importantly gives valuable exposure to all aspects of a senior management position.

In return we offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, extensive learning and development opportunities, Employee Assistance Programme, and an engaging and supportive environment.
